Services Agreement and Professional Fees:

I (herein after referred to as Client) have voluntarily employed Lisa Kanne of One on One Dog Training (herein after referred to as Consultant) to assist me in the training of my dog. Professional fees are as listed on the web site www.lisakanne.com or shall be quoted to me via e-mail if services required are outside those listed in the web site. Fees are due prior to each training session unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties. Client will be billed at the full appointment fee for any no shows and at half the appointment fee for any appointment cancelled with fewer than 24 hours notice.

Description of services:

Client understands that the consultant will work directly with me and my pet to impart contemporary animal behaviour knowledge that best fits our needs, and that successful companion pet programs depend on a combination of learned skills on the parts of the pet and owner. Behaviour is not static; an animal will not continue to perform even trained Behaviours[] without ongoing practice. Especially in cases involving any type of aggression, although behaviour may be modified, the dog is never cured. A pets behaviour is ultimately the owners responsibility. Consultant will make every reasonable effort to help us attain goals but makes no guarantees of performance on the part of Client or pet as a result of providing professional animal behaviour consultation. Client acknowledges that obedience training/behaviour modification may be an activity in which damage or injury to dogs and/or persons may occur. Client will assume full financial/moral responsibility for actions of their dog. Client further acknowledges that dogs may be exposed to a variety of environmental conditions, which include but are not limited to, vehicular travel, interaction with people and other animals, exposure to adverse weather, and exposure to areas with crowds and all types of traffic. I the Client agree that I, my heirs, assignees and legal representatives will not make claim against, sue, or attack the property of Consultant, her family, acquaintances, or any other person acting on her behalf (herein referred to as Her Agents), for injury or damage done to or by dogs resulting from action or negligence, however caused, by Consultant or Her Agents. I the Client forever release Consultant and/or Her Agents from any and all liability and demands which I the Client, and my heirs, assignees and legal representatives may have or may hereafter have for injury or damage to or by dogs, and assume all risks thereof. Client and Consultant hereby agree to mediate and/or arbitrate any misunderstanding that may arise pursuant to the terms contained herein. In any action or proceeding arising out of this agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to reimbursement of costs and legal fees. This Contract for Information and Services supplied supersedes all other agreements, written or oral, previously made between Client and Consultant.
